Land conservation and control of run-off water dominate oral hearing on N59 upgrade
A number of issues regarding land conservation and the control of run-off water are being discussed at the Bord Pleanala hearing in relation to the development of the road between Maam Cross and Oughterard.
Environmental consultant Peter Sweetman has been challenging some of the information which has been given by Galway County Council in support of the project.
The hearing is continuing this evening in the Westwood Hotel.
