Knocknacarra eyesore to be demolished

A vacant house in Knocknacarra, which has been the location of anti-social behaviour is being demolished.

Councillor Donal Lyons says local residents have been complaining about the property at Ballymoneen Road for some time.

It has planning permission for apartments to be built on the site.

Local residents made representations to the Council, urging it to give an order to the owner, that the property be secured or demolished.
