In a first for an Irish airport, Ireland West Airport Knock this week launched a new innovative online TV Channel – ‘AirportTV’.

Airport TV will broadcast the latest news stories from the airport, live events as they happen and offer an insight into the day to day operations of a major International airport.

Regular monthly features will include the travel experiences of passengers who use the airport, holiday reviews of Knock’s 21 International destinations, as well as a showcase of local food/gift producers and tourism providers from across the West of Ireland.

The channel will be broadcast online on http://www.irelandwestairport.com/airporttv and will be also screened on TV screens throughout the airport for the 700,000+ passengers who use the airport annually, to enjoy as they travel through the airport.

“We are often touched by some of the fascinating stories passengers have and what the airport means to them. This airport has a very unique history and we felt it would be great to share some of these stories and other airport related insights on an ongoing basis through a dedicated online Airport TV channel,” said Donal Healy, Marketing Manager, Ireland West Airport Knock.

AirportTV can also be viewed on Facebook at www.facebook.com/irelandwstknock or on www.youtube.com/irelandwestknock
