KILKERRIN TO GET NEW PASTORAL CENTRE

The go-ahead has been given for a new pastoral centre in the east Galway village of Kilkerrin.

Reverand Patrick Gilligan P.P applied for permission to have the centre built on the church grounds adjacent to the church to serve the local community.

One stipulation for the building however is that during construction, any excavations, be supervised by an archaeologist.
