Date Published: 29-Jan-2013
Galway-based book retail firm, Kennys, has recorded losses of more than 320 thousand euro for 2011.
The latest accounts, filed with the Companies Office, show that the family-run business recorded a loss of 327 thousand euro in 2011.
However, the figure is massive improvement on the previous year’s losses of 1.82 million euro.
Kennys Bookshops and Art Galleries was set up in 1940 by the late Des and Maureen Kenny.
According to today’s Irish Independent, the accounts state that results for 2012 and projections for the future indicate an improved trading position.
