Date Published: 20-Mar-2008
Renowned Irish traditional singer Seán Keane has announced two very special shows at Galway’s Black BoxTheatre on Friday March 28 and Saturday March 29. The live music, song and dance spectacular will be recorded over two nights for Sean’s forthcoming live DVD release, The Scattering, due to be released in June 2008.
Studio recordings of songs from The Scattering will also be released on CD. The concept of The Scattering is a simple one. Two live performances next week in the Black Box and subsequent DVD and CD release is Keane’s way of honouring and celebrating those Irish men and women who forged lives far away from home.
