JURY IN GLENAMADDY MURDER TRIAL RETURNS VERDICT OF GUILTY OF MANSLAUGHTER

The jury in the case of a man charged with the murder of his young neighbour outside a pub in Glenamaddy has returned a verdict of guilty of manslaughter.
46 year old Glasgow-native Pat Doherty, who has been living at Clooncon West, Glenamaddy for ten years denied murdering 20 year old Frank Fahy at The Square, Glenamaddy in the early hours of Monday, December 15th.
The case has been in session at the Central Criminal Court sitting in Galway, before Mr Justice Paul Carney.
