JURY CONSIDERS VERDICT IN CITY ARSON TRIAL

A jury has begun deliberating on a verdict in the trial of a city woman accused of setting fire to her council home.

Veronica McAnaspie denies a charge of arson at 38 Tulach Ard, Rahoon on November 28th 2007 contrary to Section 2 of the Criminal Damage Act 1991.

The jury retired at ten past four this afternoon.
