Junior Minister hopeful Toghermore review will yield positive results
Galway bay fm newsroom – Minister for training and skills Ciaran Cannon says he is hopeful that a clinical review into community health services will yield positive conclusions for Toghermore House.
The Galway East TD made the comments in advance of the publication of the report which will be made available ot the HSE West this Summer.
It will recommend a future strategy for community health services, focusing on short-term, medium term and long term goals.
A decision was made in December to wind down the 18 bed Toghermore residential facility in Tuam after a report revealed fire safety shortfalls.
