JUNE DATE FOR COURT CHALLENGE TO CITY DEVELOPMENT PLAN

Acting City Manager Joe O’ Neill has received Councillors’ backing to defend the legal challenge to the city development plan at a hearing in Dublin next month.

Businessman Micheal Ó hUigínn, a former Fianna Fail Mayor of Galway, sought a judicial review of parts of the plan, particularly relating to his lands at Séamus Quirke Road.
