JULY TRIAL FOR MAN ACCUSED OF RAPING TEENAGER IN CITY

A 44 year old man charged with the alleged rape and sexual assault of a 13 year old girl in the city last May will face trial by jury next summer.

The man, who can’t be named for legal reasons, is currently in custody.

The alleged rape and sexual assault took place at a city location on May 15th and the accused man was charged two days later.

He was sent forward for trial and a date has been set to hear his trial on July 18th 2011 at the Central Criminal Court.
