JULY SENTENCING FOR WOMAN GUILTY OF NEGLECT OF 8 CHILDREN

A woman who pleaded guilty to cruelty and neglect of her eight children will be sentenced at Galway Circuit Criminal Court in July.

Evidence was due to be heard before this month’s sittings of Galway Circuit Criminal Court but the court is still awaiting medical reports.

A victim impact statement is also being prepared.
