County Planners have justified the views of locals in Clonbur by refusing permission for a broadband mast, on the grounds of its proposed location.
Hutchinson 3G wanted to build the mast on lands south west of the village of Cloghbrack, on a site overlooking Lough Mask.
In making their decision to refuse the mast, planners say that the proposed development would be sited in an area of "significant scenic amenity and tourism value".
They also say that the site is located less than 1km from the Lough Mask special area of conservation and the Lough Mask proposed natural heritage area.
