A district court judge is being invited to visit a training centre in Tuam where it’s alleged an offensive weapon was manufactured under supervision. At Tuam district court last week, it was suggested that a nunchuck, found in the possession of a young man was built at Tuam community training centre. Management at the centre, which is under the jurisdiction of the department of justice and the probation service, have since refuted the claims stating that no such weapon was made under their guidance.
