Juanita Wilson for Q & A on As If I am Not There

The harrowing and tragic, award-winning movie As If I Am Not There will be screened at the Eye Cinema in Wellpark from this Friday, March 18.

As If I Am Not There tells the story of a young woman from Sarajevo whose life is shattered the day a young soldier walks into her apartment and tells her to pack her things. This film is a modern war story that explores love, identity and the connections between us and has been described by film critics as ‘astounding’ and ‘extraordinary’.

Juanita Wilson, the Director of ‘As If I Am Not There’ will be in attendance at the Eye Cinema on Thursday, March 24 to engage in a Q & A with the audience. As the director screenings are very popular, early booking and arrival is advised.

Juanita was recently awarded an IFTA for Best Director and the movie also scooped IFTA’s for Best Film and Best Script. The cinematographer on As If I am Not There is Tim Fleming from The Claddagh.
