Journey to Newcastle a dream, but Fogarty’s a nightmare

The Journey to Newcastle was bizarrely straight forward in comparison to other trips we have had this year. Three and half hours from door to door thanks to Aer Arann’s direct flight, which considering some of the travel times we have to endure when travelling from the west to European games, is pretty amazing.

John Fogarty. One of the worst room-mates I have ever had to deal with it on my travels. For some reason they seem to think we are best buddies or something because we keep landing up together. He is constantly wrecking my head, he’s like a big ball of energy, a young lad who has just had too many sugar filled sweets.

In fairness we have a good laugh but once in a while when he leaves the room for an hour, it’s great to it back and enjoy the peace and quiet. He’s great for the quick slags, a bit too quick for me but it has to be said I’m an easy target and my slagging can be a bit over the edge in response.
