Joe Echo brings passionate music to Roisin Dubh

Joe Echo, the alter ego of singer Ciaran Gribbin, comes to the Róisín Dubh this Saturday night, June 7. The Co Derry native is in London for a few days, recording some tracks for dance legend Paul
Oakenfold.

“It’s been fantastic,” Ciaran enthuses. “He’s got a right hand man called Ian Green – I’m in South London at the minute in his studio. Ian’s going over to Oakenfold in LA next week. There’s even talk of
me going over there as well. It’s not confirmed but the good news is we’ve written 11 songs.
It’s just unbelievable.”

Oakenfold sent Ciaran ome tracks by last month and the Derry man had five songs ready when he went over work with Ian Green. They soon had more.
