JOBS POTENTIAL AS CONNEMARA SEAFOOD COMPANY LINKS WITH FRANCE
Date Published: 29-Nov-2012
A Connemara seafood company has established a joint venture with two French companies in Lorient in France, with strong job creation potential
Rosaveal’s Breizon Limited and Achill’s Keem Bay Seafood have set up the joint venture with assistance from Bord Iascaigh Mhara’s Collective Route to Market Scheme.
With this scheme, BIM provides support packages and expert advice so companies can compete more effectively on the international market.
The venture will see the two Connacht companies supply their new French partners Argis Galascea and Les Viviers de Keroman who will in turn supply the growing French market.
The new venture creates the potential for new jobs within a year and could see Breizon adding three jobs to their current roster of thirty employees.
