Jobs fears as owners to leave Connemara castle hotel

One of Connemara’s best known hotels is likely to go on the market soon.
The staff were told this week that Minerva and Raymond Mason from Florida intend to withdraw from the Ballinahinch Castle Hotel.
The Mason’s have owned the property for almost 35 years.
Now staff have been told that the Masons – who are in their eighties – want to part with Ballinahinch.
There are 56 jobs there and its not known what will transpire as part of this change.
