Medical technologies giant Covidien is to make a major investment in research and development activities in Galway, creating a jobs boost

The multinational company is to undertake major R&D projects in partnership with its existing facilities in Galway and Athlone, while NUI Galway is among four independent facilities that will benefit from the €25 million investment
