JOBS BOOST EXPECTED WITH OPENING OF SECURITY FIRM IN TUAM

The opening of major security firm Brinks Ireland Limited in Tuam tomorrow could mean more jobs for the North Galway area.(21/10)
The new Tuam hub will serve all of the Western counties that were previously serviced from the firms branches in Limerick and Dublin.
Already the firm is employing 14 at it’s new branch in Airglooney, Tuam with plans to double that number over the next year.
While transmitting cash from banks and other financial institutions is a major part of Brinks activities in Ireland the firm also provides security staff for many major national and multi-national firms here including Dunne’s Stores and Intel.
The official opening will be at 4PM tommorow by Mayor of county Galway Cllr Jimmy McClearn and Bill Hoyne, Managining Director of Brinks Ireland
