Jobs boost at city medical device company
Galway bay fm newsroom -15 new jobs are to be created by a medical devices company in the city.
The new positions will be based at Aerogen in the Galway Business Park in Dangan from the beginning of next year.
It will bring to 80 the number of people employed by the company, which specialises in the development of medical devices for acute respiratory care.
The company’s products are marketed worldwide, and in the last five years, their sales have grown from 3.5 million euro to approximately 18 million euro.
Mayor of Galway Pádraig Conneely met with the American Director of Aerogen in California this week, and says the jobs will be another great boost for the city
