Jack L brings his show on Jacques Brel to Galway

Singer Jack Lukeman returns to Galway on Thursday, October 13 with a new version of his hit show, Chez Jack L.

Jack first performed Chez Jack L in 2004, based on the music of Jacques Brel, a composer he admired greatly.

It was an an immediate hit. Initially scheduled to run for three weeks in Spirit music venue in Dublin, it ran for four sell-out months and Jack followed that with a smash hit run throughout Ireland and Europe.

At the 2010 Edinburgh Festival, Jack won the Spotlight Award for Best Musical Performance with Chez Jack L.

ck decided to revive the show, but with the added twist of including songs from his other favourite composers, And he will also include some of his own material, as many Jack L songs are now part of the staple diet of radio stations around the globe.

He has also added some audio visual effects to create the brand new Chez Jack L Show.

It has been described by Hot Press as ‘simply stunning’ while the Edinburgh Evening News felt that ‘as with all great shows, it feels over too soon’.
