INVESTIGATION FOLLOWING DISCOVERY OF MANS BODY IN TUAM

Gardai are investigating the discovery of a man’s body in Co Galway.

The body of the man in his 60s was found at a house in Finn’s Cross in Tuam at about half 12 this afternoon.

There was minor smoke damage to part of the house.

The body remains at the scene, and the State Pathologist’s office has been notified.

At this stage Gardai say they do not believe any foul play was involved in the man’s death.
