INVESTIGATION AFTER GARDA BITTEN IN CLIFDEN

Gardaí are investigating an assault on a Garda in Clifden last night. [11/5]

The incident happened in the town around 8.30pm, when a Garda, who was on duty, was bitten.

He suffered minor injuries in the incident.

Gardaí have begun an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
