Inquest opens in Dublin into death of Connemara girl

Galway Bay fm newsroom – The inquest has opened into the death of a six-year-old Connemara girl who died in hospital in Dublin nearly three years ago.
Aibha Conroy, from Carna died at Temple Street Children’s Hospital on the 14 December, 2011.
The little girl had suffered brain damage and cardiac arrest.
Aibha Conway had been treated at University Hospital Galway.
The inquest, at Dublin City Coroner’s Court, is being attended by Aibha’s parents, John and Kathleen Conroy, and her eight-year-old sister.
The hearing is expected to continue for several days and some of today’s hearing has been in adjournment for legal argument.
