INISHBOFIN TO GET STATE OF THE ART HEALTH CENTRE

Inishbofin Island is getting a new Health Centre.

The existing prefab health centre in the Middlequarter of the island is to be knocked and replaced with a new permanent building.

County planners have given the HSE West the green light to develop a new Health Centre with 12 conditions.

It will consist of two bungalow buildings connected internally, one will be the new Health Centre, and the other will be a 2-bedroom house to accommodate locum staff.
