Inishbofin funeral delayed by bad weather

On Inishbofin Island, off the Connemara coast, a funeral that was planned for Friday finally took place to the local cemetery yesterday evening.

The island ferry from Cleggan managed to sail at 4 yesterday evening and Liam Byrne was laid to rest as darkness fell on Inishbofin.
