INIS OIRR TO GET MORE WATER DELIVERIES

Extra water will continue to be delivered to Inis Oírr this weekend as the public supply is still not safe to drink.

The 300 strong population of Inis Oirr have been unable to drink the water for a full week now.

Galway county council issued an alert last Friday not to drink the water after high levels of Chloride were detected.

It is still safe to use for all other purposes.
