INFESTATION OF ZEBRA MUSSEL PEST IN LOUGH CORRIB
Date Published: 27-Sep-2007

This alien species impacts on all aspects of the lake from water supplies, ecology, fisheries and amenity and the Western Regional Fisheries Board is focusing on confining the outbreak

Dr Forde says a concerted effort is needed from local authorities in Galway and Mayo and all water authorities to stop this pest spreading
