INCREASE IN NUMBERS ON CONNEMARA HOUSING LIST

There has been a huge increase in the number of people on the County Council housing list in Connemara since the earlier months of this year.

The number seeking local Council houses in Clifden – the most sought after location in west Connemara – has more than doubled thoughout 2011.

There have been marked increases in the housing list in other areas also.
