INCLUSION IRELAND AGM TO GET UNDERWAY IN CITY

People with intellectual disabilities and their families will be given a voice at the AGM of Inclusion Ireland which begins in the city this evening.

The conference aims to promote political awareness of intellectual disabilities and will provide a platform for elected representatives to speak to people ‘on the ground’.

Mayor of Galway, Michael Crowe will welcome delegates to the AGM at the Galway Bay Hotel in Salthill at 6pm, and continues tomorrow.

Minister for disability, Equality and mental health, Kathleen Lynch will also address delegates this evening.
