A unique event will take place in the city centre tomorrow to raise awareness of the mass hunger strike in the U.S.

Guantanamo Bay prison.

It’ll see hooded prisoners in orange boiler suits standing in bus queues or standing in the queue at ATMs or sitting at the Wilde Statue on Shop Street.

It’s being organised by Galway Alliance Against War and the ‘Guantanamo Prisoners’ will assemble at 12.45p.m at Wilde’s statue.
