IFA IN LAST DITCH EFFORT TO SAVE GALWAY COUNTY AGRICULTURAL SCHOOL

A last ditch effort is being made by the Irish Farmers Association to save Mountbellew Agricricultural College.
IFA Deputy President, Derek Deane will lead a delegation into talks with Teagasc over the proposed closure of the only agricultural institution in the West of Ireland.
They will discuss the future of the college which is in jeopardy due to proposed budgetary cuts at Teagasc of 30 percent.
