IFA HOST ANOTHER PUBLIC MEETING ON NEW RULES ON MOUNTAIN SHEEP FARMING

Controversy continues in Connemara about proposals from the Department of the Environment to take sheep down from the mountains during the winter and springtime months.

There are fears that this order will end sheep farming in the area.

The IFA has now called another public meeting for Maam Cross tonight.
