HUNDREDS OF TRAINING PLACES FOR GALWAYS UNEMPLOYED

Hundreds of free training places are being made available to the unemployed across Galway.

The training places have come on stream as part of the Government’s Labour Market Activation Fund.

Over six-and-a-half thousand training places will be rolled out nationwide at a cost of 20-million-euro to the Government.

320 places will be made available in Galway and Mayo.

Those unemployed during the economic downturn and the long term unemployed will be particularly catered for.

Career Decisions Ireland, the Digital Skills Academy, the County Galway VEC and TBG Learning will host courses in Galway.
