HUNDREDS ATTEND JOB SEEKERS FAIR IN CITY

Hundreds of jobs seekers are attending a major jobs fair in the city today.

The Skillnets event, features up to 40 companies who are actively seeking to recruit almost 500 vacancies in the West of Ireland.

The positions range from care assistants in the healthcare sector to product builders in the medical devices sector, marketing executives and financial services.

Companies recruiting today include EA Games, Goodman medical, Johnson and Johnson and Bluebird care.

The jobsfair is taking place at the Radisson Hotel on Lough Atalia until 5 this evening.
