Humanity Dick at King’s Head ahead of Brighton Fringe

Galway audiences will have a one-night chance to see Seán Leonard’s one-man hit Humanity Dick: A Tale of Beasts and Bullets when it’s staged in the City next week before travelling to England for its UK Premiere at the Brighton Fringe.

The rollicking life story of Galway’s duelling father of animal rights comes to the Ruby Room at the King’s Head on Thursday next, May 3.

This follows its hugely successful performance at Clifden Arts Festival 2017, and a sell-out show at Ballynahinch Castle in January.

The King’s Head performance will be a preview before writer and performer Seán Leonard takes the incredible true tale of Richard ‘Humanity Dick’ Martin to England’s largest arts festival for four performances.

“Brighton Fringe is a superb opportunity for me to introduce the show to an English audience and the Ruby Room performance will ensure I begin my Brighton run fully prepared,” says Seán. “As well, of course, as offering Galway locals a superb night’s entertainment!” he adds.
