More than 40 properties are set to go under the hammer in the next O’Donnellan & Joyce ‘Wild Atlantic Way’ auction taking place on April 21.

Among the properties going to auction are:

1 Barr na gCurrach, Furbo. A three-bed home in a small development of bungalows which has views of Galway Bay and the Clare Hills. Furbo Beach is a short walk away as are the shops, the church, bar and restaurants. The Advised Minimum Value is €285,000.

Knocknavoddy, Furbo. A wonderful four-bed family home with spacious living accommodation located on an elevated site. The living and sleeping accommodation are located on the ground floor where there is also a large lower ground floor which contains two rooms which are accessed from the rear and a large garage that is accessed from the front. This lower ground area could also be used as extra accommodation as it is plumbed and ready to use. The property was constructed in the late 1980s and so as with all properties of this age, it will benefit with some modernisation. However, it is presented in very good condition and has large manicured gardens on one acre. The AMV is €395,000

Truskey West, Barna. A lovely three-bed bungalow just a stone’s throw from the village and the Twelve Hotel. The property enjoys a large living space over a split level area, which could be converted into a living spaced (subject to planning). The large manicured gardens to the front and rear offer space in abundance and stunning views of Galway Bay. According to the agents, this unique family home is one of the nicest properties to come to the market for quite some time. The AMV is €400,000.

32 Ocean Wave, Salthill. Ideal as a family home or for somewhere to downsize or retire to, and just a few minutes’ walk from the heart of Salthill. The property is across the road from the Promenade. The AMV is €300,000.

Also for sale at Truskey West is an architecturally-designed four-bed detached property located within walking distance of the village. It stands on a half-acre of mature gardens and trees, giving total privacy to the property.  The AMV is €375,000.

Ballynapark, Corofin. Development site of 14 acres with full planning permission for 21 detached houses. Approximately 1,000 feet of road frontage and located close to Castletown Station, which was used in the film ‘The Quiet Man’. The AMV €100,000.

Donnellan Drive, Loughrea. A four-bed detached house built in 1972, which has a particularly large garden to the front and side and large yard to the rear. The AMV is €195,000.

15 For Lorenzo House, Bishop O’Donnell Road, Galway. A beautiful two-bed penthouse just off Taylor’s Hill and offering views over Galway Bay and surrounding coastline. The AMV is €230,000.
