HSE WEST PAYS 4 GALWAY TAXI COMPANIES OVER HALF A MILLION EURO

Four Galway taxi companies have received over half a million euro from the HSE West last year without having to tender for the work.

The Irish Independent is reporting that the HSE West confirmed it paid taxi companies 3.7 million euro last year across nine counties from Donegal to Limerick.

Big-O-Taxi-Co, Upper Dominic St, received 168 thousand euro last year.

The records also show Maura Reaney of Connemara received 138 thousand euro, Francis Comer of Oranmore also received 138 thousand euro, while Owen Linnane of Ardrahan received 116 thousand euro for taxi services.
