HSE WEST DENIES CONNEMARA PUPILS MISSING OUT ON DENTAL TREATMENT

The HSE West is denying Connemara pupils are missing out on dental screening.

It’s issued a statement confirming a new permanent dentist has been appointed to serve 21 schools in Clifden and Carna.

It’s in response to reports schoolchildren in those areas weren’t receiving dental treatment due to a dentist shortage.
