HSE SAYS CONSULTATIONS REGARDING PROPOSED HEALTH CUTS

IN a statement issued to Galway Bay Fm the HSE West says yesterdays (Friday) daylong meeting regarding proposed chanegs in the health servicvewas a positive one.

The HSE says both sides engaged fully in a bid to resolve the issues in relation to temporary staff contracts and to explore ways of reducing costs within the HSE West area.

Working through the LRC, it was agreed by both sides that local consultations would take an end deadline of 31st August 2010.
