HSE REPORT ON CLARINBRIDGE FACILITY DUE BEFORE END OF YEAR

A report by the Health Service Executive into alleged incidents of child abuse at the Brothers of Charity facility in Clarinbridge is due to be complete by the end of the year

An investigation was launched by the Old Western Health Board 8 years ago amid concerns about the allegations surrounding the Kilcornan facility

An original date for the completion of a report was September last year however, this deadline was missed

The HSE West has confirmed that the report is currently being finalised and that it’s expected to be complete by the end of this year
