HSE GETS GREEN LIGHT FOR LONG AWAITED TUAM AMBULANCE BASE

The HSE has finally got the go-ahead for a new ambulance base in Tuam.

The County Council has approved plans for a base at Townparks, on the site of the former Bon Secours hospital.

It will include 14 car parking spaces and a communication mast that will be attached to the one and a half and two-storey building.

It’s hoped it will be funded in this economic climate.
