The HSE and the Government have been lashed over the lack of any progress on Tuam’s proposed health campus.

At this week’s Tuam Town Council meeting, members criticised a letter from the HSE which failed to shed any light of progress with the project.

Mayor Peter Warren said one line in the letter signed by Priya Prendergast stating that there is ‘no defined timeframe’ for the health campus project told it all and that it was a non-runner.

Councillor Martin Ward said Deputy Paul Connaughton and Councillor Colm Keaveney had already told them that there was no money for the project.
