HSA ESTABLISHING CAUSE OF MANS DEATH AT KILTORMER BOG

The Health and Safety Authority is investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man in a bog in Kiltormer yesterday.

It’s understood a tractor rolled back on top of man, who’s in his early 60s, as he was opening a gate near the bog, while bringing turf home.

The Health and Safety Authority says it’s not conducting a full investigation until it establishes the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.

Gardaí have not yet released the man’s name.
