Mary O'Driscoll as Rose in The Visit, presented by Draíocht Theatre this Saturday night in Galway's Town Hall.

The Visit, a drama about personal hope, written by multi-award-winning playwright Deirdre Kinahan, will be performed at the city’s Town Hall Theatre this Saturday, June 4. It’s part of a national tour being presented by Blanchardstown’s Draíocht Theatre as part of its 21st birthday celebrations.

Directed by Veronica Coburn, who has a long association with Draíocht, the play centres on the recently widowed Rose, played by Mary O’Driscoll. After the death of her dominating and controlling husband, Rose begins to re-engage with the world and discovers that it’s a place full of possibilities.
