Honorary Life Membership awarded to President Higgins at NUIG
Galway Bay fm newsroom – The Law Society at NUI Galway is awarding Honorary Life Membership to President Michael D. Higgins this afternoon.
Earlier, the President of Ireland and his wife Sabina officially opened the newly refurbished Coláiste Iognáid school in the city.
The secondary co-educational school, which caters for over 600 students, marked 150 years in education at Sea road last year.
President Higgins will also attend Eamon Deacy Park in Terryland at 7 this evening for the Galway FC versus Shamrock Rovers.
