HOLIDAY HOMES TO BENEFIT MOST FROM CONNEMARA BROADBAND

A new telephone radio link in west Connemara will make it possible to install the broadband system in a number of exchanges.

However, it appears that Eircom will not be extending broadband in that area because they think they would not get enough income from it.

But the Roundstone area may get the system largely because of its number of holiday homes.
