HIQA PUBLISHES REPORTS ON OUGHTERARD BASED OWEN RIFF NURSING HOME

The Health Information and Quality Authority has published two new inspection reports this afternoon on Owen Riff private nursing home in Oughterard.

The owners of the facility recently withdrew their appeal to a closure order issued by the District Court last month.

Four inspection reports have been published by HIQA to date, with the two most recent March and April editions published this afternoon.

The HSE has been directed to take charge of the facility and to make alternative arrangements for the residents as soon as is practicable.
